    Calculate the power of a the lift motor

    this is how I would do it; Could be wrong and often I am!!! Power = Energy/Time. Energy(J)= Load x 9.81 x Vertical Distance. So: 400 x 9.81 x 50 = 196200 joules, There for 196200/24 = 8175 Watts BTW (9.81 is for Working out Joules)

    I get the same!! Z= Root sq 4 Sq + 3 Sq = 5 ohms Then, P= V Sq/R so: 200 Sq/5 = 8000 W :D
