RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

Yes, I turned off the cooker. Sorry if not clear. I used the 13A socket next to the cooker switch to plug in.

RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

Results of ramp test on 100mA rcd with all circuits off except for cooker radial which was needed for conducting the test since the test meter had just a 3 pin plug and no probes. Tested 4 times: 70, 60, 60 & 70mA Any comments?

RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

I finally managed to trace the fault to one of the 2 pir outside lights while I was waiting for the rcd tester to arrive. It was a sealed unit but had condensation behind the glass. RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

Thanks to you both for your suggestions. I've just been up the ladder and given the outside lights a close inspection. The 2 new ones are sealed units with short leads which are connected to the existing wiring using plastic terminal blocks which I wrapped in self-amalgamating tape like you...

RCD Tripping for no apparent reason

Hi All, Just recently our 100mA RCD in our home consumer unit has started to trip for no apparent reason. On Thursday around lunchtime it tripped 3 times in the space of 1-2hrs. We were just using the kettle and microwave in the kitchen at that time. After I re-set it for the 3rd time I...
