There are several discussions about this on here. In shorr, the inverters can't always respond fast enough to meet demand, plus ' maintenance' activity can pull some energy from the grid. So batteries don't completely prevent importing energy.

If they were undersized they would be tripping regularly.

Looks like your inverter has a 90v start up voltage, so 3 panels is probably ok. What panels are you fitting.

Single string if panels?

No harm in running a larger cable, it will make the system marginally more efficient. Are you sure 3 panels is enough to meet minimum voltage for MPPT to start up?

Welcome. Interesting, there's no requirement to even have a switch on sockets, however if it's there it should becworking, so I would say C3 as it doesn't actually present a dangerous condition.

8 years ago panel efficiency was around 15%. Your original panels will also have degraded a few percent by now as well.

Some solar installers used to upsell VO units on the grounds it made your solar more efficient. 🤦‍♀️

If you look in the comments under the video, someone mentions they looked at micro nuclear back in the 60s, and decided it's not viable.

Despite the dubious weather, this time of year is good for generation, good irradiance combined with clean air and panels - there is a bonus to rain 😀 I think your systems also demonstrate how much the panels have improved, and you have leant why I don't like undersizing inverters, at least not...
