all pipes to sink in students kitchen are plastic, sink is stainless steel and has no connection to earth, circuits are rcd protected but should sink still be bonded as could become live if touched by someone during a fault situation

Just remembering it used to be normal practice to bond a sink, they used to provide a tab with a hole for a bolt and ring terminal.

Back in the last century we were told to bond the sinks....fair shout, not an issue. Would have been better if the earth tag had not been GLUED to the sink though
Just saying
if its not earthed, then if its touched by someone who is 'live' then it wont make any difference. apart from if it is earthed, then there will be a much lower earth loop, and you may kill them instead of a tingle...

thought would get some serious advice but jus another joke factory with wanabe inspectors so far
