The Great 'British' Suit

Another one for you environmental types. Think twice before you purchase you next British suit. Or any of your clothes come to think about it. 

I wonder how many of you check where your clothes are made?

I am happy to wear clothes

the general Public are a lot happier if i wear clothes

BUT i have little,or no interest where they come from!

i do quite a bit of work in the Fashion Sector....if you think your "designer  threads" are made in an exclusive dedicated factory...think again....................allegedly M'Lud'

I own one suit.

It comes out for weddings and funerals. The rest of the time it hangs on it's hanger with a plastic cover to keep the dust off.

The  days of having to dress up in a suit for work to look the part in a meeting are long gone and will never return.

My one remaining suit will probably last me out, but if it doesn't then one more should.

So I don't give a damn about how far my replacement suit might have to travel, that's if I ever need one.

My birthday suit was made locally and has lasted me over forty years.

Its looking a bit worn out these days though, if I'm honest

It would be quite interesting if every product sold was forced by law to come with a map like the one in the OP.

doesn't thay map just demonstrate the slightly crazy world we live in???

There has been a bit of a revival in bringing production of goods back home, but with most of the skills lost that will be a slow process.
