Hi Guys,

I am getting a pop up on my PC with the following:

iexplorer.exe - Application error

The exception unknown software excetion (0xc00000fd) occurred in the application at location 0x7c90e8e6.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Is this a virus of some sort? How do I get rid of it please? In a simple "How to get rid of it guide", please.

I updated and run SUPERantispyware, and my Avast didn't detect anything, but it is still popping up.

Try running a repair on IE mate via the add remove programs or IE itself.

Right click on IE and run as Admin, Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced >

We haven't got seperate accounts on this pc, mate. Just switch on and all can use it. It's my childrens pc.

Or have I misunderstood you mate?

that would be a big mistake in the first place then from what I know, (and thats not much)

you really should set up a seperate admin so when stuff like this happens you can backdate or whatever.
