i have a boarder collie

who keeps on licking his paws just after we came back of holiday ithere seems nothing wrong with is paws and feet

any advise wecome

Could be a lot of different things! Check very carefully between the toes (high up in the webbing) as harvest mites can cause this and look like tiny orange spots, they suck blood.

Many kinds of allergy can manifest as itchy feet. To decide what is going on here then it's a job for your vet.

You've not altered anything recently? New washing powder? New pet bedding? New flooring?

In winter when there is salt and grit on the roads this will irritate the feet and cause them to lick.

 
we have not changed anythink diet is the same are harvest mights found in th city had a look at webbing seems nothing there was pink in colour and no spots

 
no signs of flees treated with spot on regular as we have 3 cats as well so its all done we was told it could be depression

because we went on holiday and miised the family could this be true
