Ideal Isar HE35 iTIME programmer

I have had 3 programmers fitted in the last 2 years. Each time although the programmer is set to "Timed" the heating is permanently ON and can only be controlled by the room stat. Any idea what is causing this?

It seems pointless in fitting yet another iTime programmer just to have the same problem. Is it possible to bypass the integrated progammer and fit a separate one or programmable room stat?

Many thanks

you can easily change the room stat to a timer without removing existing controls. stat may or may no have a neutral though so you would need to get a timer to match or possibly install a new cable

Welcome to the forum. By you own information it would sound as though the timers may not be faulty. Are these a standalone program timer, or is it a unit built into the boiler? can you add any links to a product manual or a photograph of your timer?

Hi thank you for getting back to me. The programmer/timer is built into the boiler. The programmer is staying in a permanantly "ON" state ie not switching on and off at the set times. This is a link to the installation manual if it helps
