Hello I'm thinking about taking on the 2391 course in March as I have just qualified on Tuesday. Anyway I was just wondering what testing equipment is best as I've only used Megger or is that it and am I better off getting a multitester or individually ?

Cheers

Are the multitesters easy to use and how much do the prices range from cheers mate

Go with what you are used to/comfortable with.

Megger Mark (pm him) has an offer on the Kewtech at the moment IIRC,,, but will give you a good price on whichever you choose.

Personally I've got a Megger MFT1502, couldn't be bothered carrying around 3 different meters.

I used to use a Di-log; suitable only for single phase

and it could not do the earth electrode test but I have

never had to do it.

Can a Di-log do this test? I was never sure. It was never

in their book.
