Hello Dan,

Looks like your chicken has a infection caused by micoplasma (similar to a bacterial infection). It is very contagious so you need to get the chicken to your vet and get some antibiotics to put in the water.

The product I use doesn't have an egg withdrawal and is effective.

do you know roughly what the cost would be for a vet vist, there not pets really so if its not cost efficient to keep her i will get rid. ...

sorry to any one who thinks that harsh ...

do you think it would be too late for the other hens?

if once treated , would it cure them all , or is it a reocurring probelm

thanks for all the invaluable advice once again

In the hens with no symptoms I would expect a complete cure.

For the affected hen that depends on many factors. The longer she has been sick the lesser the chance of a cure.
