if you are anywhere near Exeter, I would suggest using DCET who run C&G course a lot cheaper than NICEIC last time I looked.
C&G every time for training.

Come to my house. I'll teach you how to make a solar thermal panel out of old drinks cans. Only entry requirement is that you bring a crate of 24 cans 5% ABV or above. First lesson will be emptying the cans!
