Earlier this week after 27+ years at our house we had probably the second major drain blockage in over 22+ years...

The sort of blockage where the Poo stops flowing where it should flow...

AND..

the manhole cover... (that used to be outside), which is now in the garage..

started expelling liquid of a dirty and smelly variety!!!!!

After a bit of probing by myself with my drain rods..

No movement..

so natural first choice...  Ring Dyno-Rod....

phone answers Hello British Gas!!!  so they now own Dyno Rod????

anyway earliest they can come is the following day!!!

WTF.... it said 24/7 service!!!

So try again.....

My Son says ring Drain Doctor.. they use them at his work...

Rings Drain doctor..

real person answers the phone...

passed details to their engineer..

who rings back in 20 mins...

on site within the hour..

gives fixed price quote before start job...

Then all working again.. packing up ready to leave within 2.5 hours of my first call

(this was all after 6:00pm by the way!!

So any blocked drains....

I would say.. try Drain Doctor

Far better then Dyno-Rod  IMHO!.

One of my customers uses dyna road a lot, they have a weird drain set up that gets abused to call outs are regular, I was told they have to watch them carefully as they have been found to whack on a quick CCTV survey on the invoice when they had done ****** all.
