I heard from someone that has a great (financial) interest in the energy sector that Germany is so far ahead of the rest of Europe (whatever that is) that they don't need to build any nuclear power stations
Germany has been anti-nuclear for many years, or at least persuing other options. You have to remeber that should the cold war have turned hot, they were the front line...
Japan being a post apocalyptic culture, and what with Fukushima too, and Godzilla o'course, you cant blame 'em really

It was on radio2 the other day about windfarms. It was saying about a particular one down that there London that had only generated £5 worth of electricity since it was commisioned.
