Any gas engineers on here or anyone know a gas engineer?

I need about 5 to 10 metres of yellow flexible gas ducting to lay in the LPG gas supply when I lay the foundations of my new house shortly.

It seems you can only buy this stuff in 50 metres rolls. I only need a short bit.

Anyone have any offcuts?

Thanks.

bit of drain pipe painted yellow at the visible ends? no-one will ever know...

and since when was gas that far north? thought you still had outside toilets up there!?

Any plant hire / ground works companies near you?

They may have some for the same reason as you need it.

Some of them prefer to lay the ducts themselves when preparing house sites.

Yes saw those. Too much and too much money for what I want.

But actually I have just won a complete 50 metre coil of the 60mm diameter stuff for 99p.  :Applaud

Snag is, it's in Scarborough.

Even when I  offer him a fair price for 10 metres of it and a fiar price for postage he refuses.

But it's still all mine for 99p if I can collect it.

So is there anyone on here near to Scarborough who fancies collecting a 50 metre coil for 99p, posting 10 metres of it to me and you can keep the rest?
