We have a syrian hamster who is coming upto 3yrs old, we were told that they only have a life span max of 3.

Should i keep on doing what we've always done eg letting him out in his ball, as hes getting old should he be doing less?

If that makes sense?

max 3 years is a little strong, but you have an old hamster there!

Let him do whatever he wants

If he's happy quality of life matters

Equally if he's getting a bit stiff and arthritic then regular excercise helps
