I think  the BSA  began as gun manufacturers  (  Birmingham Small Arms )     .  They made sporting , military wepons & air rifles .

Gunmaking in Birmingham was a massive industry  once , with its own quarter like the Jewellery Quarter  .   BSA was, like many others , a massive employer  .

Wouldn"t a dry ski slope be a "hill"?

When my son was in Scouts they went to the dry ski slope at Rossendale.......they had to turn back as the road was blocked with snow!

I love this place,

start off with a computer problem and end up shooting at things while sliding down a hill,  :D

not in this country... it doesnt stop raining long enough for the hill to become 'dry'!
