Is that nut and bolt the MET?

And the fuse in the neutral removed and replaced with a henley.

yes, They are a ****** to get a 16mm in. :tongue in cheek  I have a couple in my van.

Top of the head was removed and replaced with the Henley and the fuse carrier rather than the iron trapdoor of doom.

Them old ISCO things are scary.

bad day explode

at least they didnt replace it with a red fuse holder and a lump if steel specially shaped to a BS88...

That some twat had specially made up  rather than using a BS 1202-1  :p

had a back-board like that once, it was so fragile you could stick your finger striaght through it

Yeah, this ones rubber ducked. The cutout is only upright due to the way the supply cable was pulled in & positioned its not fixed to the wall at all!

And yes you can finger it....

I've also had 1 or 2 like that.... DNO came out and replaced it without any problem

DNO will be attending tomorrow between 10am & 2pm. :)

What was the craze in the past with painting the back boards, and VERY roughly painting round the meter?  It must have looked naff even when first done?
