bluetooth garage door opener

I have a customer who would like to open their garage door from their phone. I purchased the i blue smart gate.

I need to wire it into the current garage door opener henderson sprint.

Am I right in thinking it can be wired across the old switch terminals. 

Should the bluetooth reciever be mounted to the wall and connected to the old cable for the previous switch or will it work inside the metal case of the garage door opener?
