MicroUSB to WebCam+Charge

Hey friends !

I had an idea but i need some help!

So i will try to be as specific as i can.

I am trying to connect a web camera to my smartphone.

I successfully connected it via OTG Cable (USB to Micro USB dongle) but i have a problem

While i am connected i want to charge my smartphone all together from the micro USB that is connected to my camera but i have no idea how to do that.

So if you guys are asking my why.. 

I am trying to make a (security/who is in front of the door stile thing)

I want to view who is in front of my door ass well as charge my phone.

Because it will always be connected to the camera and i dont want to disconnect and charge it.

I hope you guys understand and please help me with some tips and tell me if this is possible.

Depends on the phone, some won't allow you to use OTG and charge mode at the same time. You can easily butcher a lead to add charging to OTG but if the phone doesn't support it then there isn't much you can do.

Just get a cheap nasty tablet that uses an independent charging method, some have a Jack type charger rather than via USB.

If you're buying stuff you might as well just buy a cheap camera. I'm guessing the OP is wanting to use whatever is to hand and costs nothing.

A cheap / old Android phone can run one of the remote camera apps over your wifi.
