Is there any need to be funny or awkward???? It is completely obvious what Rana means.... can any of you explain technical questions in a foreign language?? No, thought not.....

Hi Rana,

It all depends on the type of cable and where it is installed. You see, not all cables have the same type of insulation on them. some can stand higher temperatures than others, so we would need to know exactly what cable it was.

Secondly, it all depends on where the cable is installed. You will understand that a cable installed in a hot place and covered in thick insulation will not be able to safely carry as much current as a cable outside in fresh air clipped to a nice cool brick wall..

john..
