UKPN Standard Transformers

The reason for me listing these transformers is to debunk the notion that the UK uses 400/230V for LV distribution. We’re on 433/250V no matter what the IET or IEC say.

 

Split phase transformers are in fact 250-0-250V.

 

Some transformers are dual voltage on the HV side. UKPN are trying to get rid of the 6.6kV they inherited from a private company network.

 

I’ve left out the names of the manufacturers each section of the table refers to. I’m sorry to say, non are UK based.
