I've been testing a property and every Zs and the Ze came to above 5.0ohms. At first I thought my meter needed calibrating as it was soon due anyway, so I had it calibrated, and started to get readings of 9.0+ohms. So I contacted UKpowernetworks to tell them they need to investigate.

An engineer came while I wasn't there, told my painter friend everything is ok and it's on our side.

I was pretty confused, then my painter friend sent me a picture of his paper work and it said his test result was 12.5ohms.

12.5ohms on a PME system.. Am I losing it or does this engineer know something I don't.

Not quite sure what to do from here.

12.5 on a TNCS will give major other problems, like nothing working properly on a high load

whats the L-N loop?
