Trying to get an SWA in a riser, well I'm trying to but the chippy who is supposed to be helping me keeps wondering off!  headbang

Anyhow, halfway up the riser I noticed a high pitched whine coming from the conduits feeding the flats above.

I was a little concerned so I checked the distribution cupboard and had a listen further up the riser and nothing, just in the middle. :C

It's an ancient setup, all Bill switchgear and imperial cables, VIR yum.

There is also a Porn & Dunwoody lift.

There is fire alarm and EM lighting cabling running up the riser but it only happens in the middle?

Weird!

Any ideas?

In those conduits , do you think they could have run ...say...  the  lives  in  two of them   and  three neutrals in the third one  ...resurrecting  your friend and mine ...Eddy Currents?

Sometimes Leccy just hums  ,

Porn & Dunwoody lifts  Eh!   Thats a new one

Ah  right !   I thought the conduits were feeding the flats  not the rubbery T&Es   .    What are the conduits for  then ?    Floor heating ...off peak s   ??

Back later . Don't hang up .

Sorry  , wrong end of the stick ,   twin & Es up the conduits  so no visit from friend Eddy and his Currents then .

Its obviously  supernatural then or an alien visitation .  :innocent     In other words I don't have a scooby .

Used to do some work in an animal feed mill where they kept all the conduits under positive pressure to keep the flour dust out.

That "whistled"...
