Heater sparking with fuse taken out

Hi,

I have a stiebel eltron electric panel heater in my bedroom. It hasn’t worked since I bought my house and a couple of weeks ago an electrician came out and fixed it. The next day it wouldn’t turn on at all and now it keeps sparking and a loud noise appears. I was advised on here to take the fuse out which I did but it is still happening and there are scorch marks in my wall above the box to turn it on. This is obviously concerning me. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks

You should get a spark in to check and isolate properly.

Where are you based?

Without knowing how your place is wired it's hard to say what to do? The heaters could be on their own circuits wired back to the fuse box but really I wouldn't be wasting time on here looking for free advice.

Get someone in ASAP!
