Fluke socket tester recall here's why.....

Been looking for mine so I can get a free voltage indicator but cant find it! :lol:

Just in case you don't like big Clive or you dont have time to watch you can return your socket tester to fluke in return they will send you a t90 or a t110 voltage indicator or a volt stick & case.

Depending on the circuit design and the fault situation the fluke will put out 9mA which may hurt a little especially if someone's at the top of a ladder, the cheapo one is designed differently and will only put out 1mA which should just be a tingle.

Most of them put out some current as a part of the design all though fluke are the only ones so far to do a recall.

Also Clive always says cheaper is better!  :lol:

Clearly what we need in the name of good forum informative content, is an archive of test results for all of the various socket testers that members do have, to see which is the less hazardous brand.
