Fluke socket tester recall here's why.....

Depending on the circuit design and the fault situation the fluke will put out 9mA which may hurt a little especially if someone's at the top of a ladder, the cheapo one is designed differently and will only put out 1mA which should just be a tingle.

Most of them put out some current as a part of the design all though fluke are the only ones so far to do a recall.

Also Clive always says cheaper is better!  ;) :lol:

 
Clearly what we need in the name of good forum informative content, is an archive of test results for all of the various socket testers that members do have, to see which is the less hazardous brand.
