They have been about for years, oh, and did you notice what is wrong with the "plug"

Did you notice in the T&C's it has a 3month warranty?   7.1. Company warrants to Customer that, for a period of 3 months following the date of shipment to Customer (the "Warranty Period") any hardware portion of the Product will be free of material defects in material and workmanship.    Also, from point 9.  shall be governed exclusively by the laws of Thailand.   Its got to be good then eh?  Its a shame the applications don't include schools, hospitals, police/fire/or ambulance stations, or public buildings in general. As I guess our council and the NHS could have saved loads to reduce the council Tax or parking charges at our hospital. Never mind

Power factor plays no part in kWHr metering. It does if you’re billed in kVAr.

Yet more snake oil from the Indian sub continent.

Baahhh, Humbug, your just spoiling the expectations of the gullible few. You are supposed to be positive and encouraging on a Friday night, with a weekend to look forward to. Couldn't you save those sort of comments till Monday or Tuesday?

Sorry did I miss the technical specs :C

I also note their confidence,

every second German Family has one....... ny now ???

FFS! I do not wish to be negative but the old phrase shouldagonetospecsavers maybe?

Technical specifications

Suitable for your standard electrical wiring at home, comes with UK plugs

Use multiple energy saving units all over the house to maximize savings

Dimensions: 12 cm x 7 cm x 4 cm

Weight: 170 g with packaging, 125 g without packaging

Maximum humidity: 85% (not allowed to be installed in bathrooms)

What is the problem Sharpend? Or have you had the odd one, two, or more tipples tonight?

Doc H.

In fact, from those specifications I think Deke could work out the Volume in cubic cm. AND the weight of the packaging. How often do you get both of those?

Doc H.

Power factor correction - something I looked into a few years ago, a very technical subject that can offer big rewards when designed specifically for an installation, so any universal piece of kit is unlikely to work effectively, as discovered by Plymouth University, who decided to fit universal PF correction units and were disappointed with the results!

This is from another "power saving" site.

Power Saver stores the electricity inside of it using a system of capacitors and they release it in a smoother way to normal without the spikes. The systems also automatically remove carbon from the circuit which also encourages a smoother electrical flow. This means that we will have less power spikes. More of the electricity flowing around circuit can be used to power appliances than before.
