Ok, new as in brand new, or relocated machine Raparee?

Just read the header in the instructions March 1973, so not new!!!

I'm going for a Swedish Ursviken hydraulic press brake?

Top down on the schematic, ignoring the power side of the Y/D starter, as the function of that is obvious, from that you can see the contactor labelling.

The control diagram, top device is a timer, I can't tell you the function because there is a blob on the drawing!  ;)

Rail 10 is the star contactor coil.

Rail 11 is the coil for the main contactor of the Y/D, which also powers the Y/D change over timer.

Rail 12 is the Delta contactor coil.

Rail 13 are 2 lamps which come on after the motor has changed into delta.

Rail 23 is the two hand start.

Rail 24 is the delay in beam return stroke

Rail 25 is the beam return stroke contactor coil

Sorry can't do any more tonight, bed is calling.

@rapparee

Have you a fault you need to sort?

If you do PM me & I'll give you an email/tel.

Apologies if any of this don’t make sense, I’m going with straight translations and I don’t think I even know the english words for some of this.

Start buttons

2 hand relay

Delayed upturn

No idea what støssel means, but opp means up :D

Støssel in what i think means top/up position (i tried google translate for this, apparently it means style... i have my doubts...)

Støssel down

Støssel in down position

Speed change

Støssel movement?

Speed change

Self hold function?

Remote start

Pressure switch management

And the £10000 question is, what the hell is støssel? Put an R in it and you get strössel which is swedish for sprinkles, somehow I don’t think that’s it... :D

do you want strössel with that ?

Strössel makes everything better :)

My money is on

A) BEAM or BLADE

B) Tooling or V block.......depends on if it is Upstroking like an Adira. Or Downstroking like a Pearson

but what do I know?....see present wife for details

just saying

I’m intrigued, what’s a V block?

It's sort of like a block with a V in it!

sorry!

press brake bends metal

metal sheet is put over a steel bar with usually a V in it

beam comes down and presses sheet material into the V and forms a bend

Unfortunately I was a bit premature with Miss Sweden

I am so far unable to get this machine "fired up" the Siemens PLC is faulty

I have had to replace the PSU as you can see in the photo below

rsz_imag0667.jpg

I've also had to order a new output module.

I am getting one second hand off e-bay as they appear to be obsolete

BTW @misssweden how do you pronounce the name of this machine, I have taken to calling it the A*r*s*e F*e*c*k*i*n

I don't think this is correct  :C
