Can anybody tell me what settings and leads to use  with the megger mft1553. On the live testing. Am i right with what ive put?

Pscc      pfc phase+ neutral   phase+ cpc

Pefc       record highest 

Ze       disconnect  main cpc

           high loop

           phase + cpc  

           red green 

Zs      no trip loop

          Phase  cpc neutral

          Red green black

now were getting somewhere but still wrong

for Zs you dont need non trip if there is no RCD. you would only need red & green too

PSCC & PEFC are wrong. re-read PFC, PEFC & PSCC

           Rcd protected circuits

           No trip  red green black

           Phase+neural+cpc

A major safety  issue here - although its a   live test the main switch must be off before  removing the main cpc

 
@G bizzle  it would be useful if you gave us some info about your background in electrics ie are you fully trained, short course trained, are you a DiYer, or are you still training? It would seem, from your posts, you don't have much idea about testing, or at least how to use a multi-function tester. You will get a much better response from the members on here if you are open and honest with us.

 
Love tests with megger mft1553

Ze  isolate db from incoming supply

Remove main cpc

High loop setting red green leads

Cpc+phase

Record results

Pfc reconnect main cpc

 Red green black leads pfc setting

Test between line neutral + cpc

Record results kA

Zs  Ze+(r1+r2)=zs

Protected circuits by rcd

Red green black leads   no trip loop

Line neutral cpc

Record results
