Ring Video Doorbell keeps ringing (new Install)

HI I purchased a Ring Video door bell and have attached this to my existing doorbell, when I press the ring doorbell it keeps ringing and wont stop. My existing doorbell I have two sets integrated into one so that if someone rings the doorbell it also rings upstairs as the house is 3 storey! I have added a resistor to the ring doorbell but that did not make any difference.

Any ideas?

If it keeps ringing , it may suggest that the bell push is "sticking"

Call the supplier tomorrow?

I would try a relay to ensure the ring doorbell is electrically seperated from the existing system

having just looked at the product on-line, it would seem it could only be a faulty unit, or the ohter possibility a warped housing from fixing to an un-even wall causing button to stick.
