I have a genie cctv Dvr with 3 cams ,I just got a floureon 4cam kit and was hoping to connect the 4cams to my excisting system I know the new cams are 1500tvl and will not show on the genie Dvr .is there a setting I need to change or will the Dvr just not accept them thanks

Have you actually tried it yet?
TV lines is the (cough) resolution of the camera and does not affect the output.
The output of the camera could be one of a various image types ip AHD, TVI or CVI Analogue Hi Definition
