I could't resist this as a subject for my holiday photos.
Cyprus electrics are basically UK standard, but this construction site set up near my hotel attracted my attention.
The site in question has suspended work for the time being, so nothing is connected to the building itself. I would visualise a host of extension leads if work was ongoing.
This box is fixed to the overhead supply pole and is on a public path to the shore. The lid has no means of fixing closed.
The cable going above the path then passes along the pavement for 10 metres or so, drops into the road where it is buried in the tarmac then emerges on the opposite side where the site sales office is. It fares better than the water supply which remains on the surface all the way!
