The Kitchen fitter strikes again

EICR on old cottage with shiny new kitchen.

Where's the isolator for the washing machine?  Pull WM out, hold on where does it's flex go?  remove kick board and follow it, plugged into an extension lead, keep following it, extension lead plugged into the socket behind the tumble dryer (that appears to have been there before the kitchen fitters started their butchery)

Yes the old story ...  to most  kitchen fitters  electrics are a nuisance  , they prefer to codge them so they can crack on with what earns them money ...units & worktops. 

Some of them these days  are partially trained  with limited knowledge and register to comply with Part P ,  which is a start I suppose , when really they should be calling a Sparks in  but they won't while they think can lash it up ,  get all the covers on  so it looks nice  and move on.
