Been installing Dimplex XLE 150 storage heater came to fit the energy cells  or the bricks the last brick wouldn't fit of the bottom row of the stack seems the bricks are the wrong size even though the installation instructions use pack 047243 seems the bricks are to long anyone encountered this problem before.

As far as I know these heaters use standard size bricks, just the quantities vary for different heater sizes. Dimplex have been producing these and similar variations for more years than I can remember. It is unlikely that any components are the wrong size. You have probably not placed them correctly in position. Did you follow the instructions exactly. e.g. fitting the far right & left cells first?

Position the first energy cell of the bottom row to the right, firmly pressed against the side insulation with the element grooves facing upwards and fitting neatly around the element.

Angle the element upward to fit the energy cell.
Position the second energy cell in the row against the left-hand insulation. Place the remaining energy cells between the first and second in the row. (Fig. 11)

The insulation has a habit of expanding when nothing is pressing against it.  Just push the first brick a bit to compress the side insulation then sllde the rest over and the last one will go in.

Cheers thanks for you help managed to squeeze them all in just needed to push the insulation back a bit. Thanks once again.
