Taxes?

Once we've burnt all the dino juice everyone will have found £15-£100k down the back of the sofa for an electric car.

So they have to recoup the losses from the lack of demmand for dead stegasaurus, perhaps this is a way of verifying mileages with the help of

your smart meter? 

 
Once electric vehicles get more common the fuel taxes will drop ................ so the income will have to be found elsewhere ................ unless there is a magic money tree!

 
So if "oficcial" car charging points are going to be taxed, will users not just use the "granny charger" that charges at a lower rate from an ordinary 13A plug?  A proper charge point is only needed for fast charging,

Can't find any official information but a tesla may take up to 30hrs to fully charge from a 13a socket.
