er yes um sorry about that .... I had to throw the main switch to get my arm down to do some twiddling ...fairly complex operation but I'm a trained twiddler ..got an NVQ in twiddling ...anyway I twiddled & twiddled & went home ....forgot switch back on didn't I :C anyway awfully sorrers .

Been there, done that!

first day on site our new apprentice went into a server room

caght main switch on an IBM 6150...shut down entire system, no UPS, NOTHING! :slap

sold them a nice UPS though

On one of our furnaces I’d removed the isolation locks from the 11kV OCB. Racked the OCB in to service. Charged the closing mechanism. Pity I forgot to press the close button before I cleared off home.

As I said, you’re not the first and I doubt you’ll be the last.
