I have a heat bulb for my bearded dragon which is the Arcadia solar basking spotlight (100W E27). It has been held in his vivarium for six years with this holder with no problem, but suddenly stopped working. The bulb had blown so I changed it for a new one but it still didn't work, so I changed both the associated fuses and the power lights all went on for the connections but the bulb still didn't turn on. So I unscrewed the fitting and with how easily the wires came out I think they might have become detached and maybe caused the fuses to blow because of that? I'm not really sure but either way I now have a bearded dragon with an unwired light fitting and no idea where the wires go back in since it wasn't me who originally fit it, and I can't ask the person who did it. The last time I tried to rewire a plug I blew the power in my department at work, so would anyone be able to help me out? 😂

So in summary, does anyone know which connection I should screw the blue wire into and which one I should screw the brown wire into?

The two terminals to the right of your photo..

NOT the one marked loop..

Polarity is irrelevant for this type of fitting..
