fitting a bell box

Hi

Im hoping its a straight easy answer to this

I have a Honeywell vista 21ip panel and I want to connect a Honeywell 8EP420 bell box problem is the panel has only 2 terminals for the bell.

Not sure how to upload an image so you may need the google the panel.

can anyone shed some light on how i get this working?

PS.. the panel came with me from the us.

From what I can tell, they're incompatible ...

The 21ip panel uses 2 wire ip technology (digital)

the Reson8 bell box uses 5 wires (analogue)

Haven't a clue TBH.... all I can see from the instructions is that its an addressable panel

Have you tried ringing Honeywell? I'd imagine that they'll be quite helpful

screw the bell box to the wall and leave it unconnected - the sight of a bell box does more to deter thieves than a working bell in my opinion.
