Metrel MI3125 bt. ???? Help

Hi, new guy here, go easy on me!? No don't!

Starting out on my own because of injury has wrecked my Full time Electrictricianing.

Bought the Metrel 3125bt. Because I'm a bit impatient and Would much rather be wiring/ terminating/containment: Tools out basically!! So I went for the MI3125 bt as it's supposed to be efficient and easy and quick!?!?  I struggled to do any basic tests!? What additional software/??? How do you make this thing do its job correctly?? Thanks guys
