Hi, I have just taken delivery of a Texecom Premier Compact IR ACD-0001 purchased as a direct replacement for my existing /damaged PIR (Micromark Z23022 alarm system).

However the wiring terminals are marked up in a different way.

Existing PIR terminal block has 6 points, but only has 4 wires in use:-

Blue = +

Yellow = - (minus)

Black = N

Red = C

With 2 X tamper wire terminals not in use.

The New PIR terminal block is marked as follows:-

OV

 +12v

Alarm

Alarm

 Tamper

 Tamper

I have tried using the Texecom online manual for the new  PIR via the Texecom app site, but cannot understand it as I'm not very technically minded or an electrician nor find the information to convert old to new wiring blocks.

Could someone please take pity on me and help me out as Im just an average guy trying to repair my existing alarm system until I can aford something more up to date. Hoping someone out there will be able to advise me on the wiring terminal sequence for the new PIR in comparison to the old PIR .

Thank you,

Thanks for that and  appreciate the very prompt response..

This may sound silly, but does it matter which way round  the black and red go?

Cable is 4 core only and old wiring is as per old pir which worked fine until front was smashed while decorating  snd never had an anti tamper on pir's only on main control box and mains power supply.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
