CCTV suggestion

We are looking for a two camera (bullet), exterior, PoE CCTV kit that records to a HDD. One of the cameras will be 25-30m from the HDD box and would require a side installation bracket. This is for home use.

Can you guys recommend a suitable kit/system for our use that you’ve installed and think has been really good.

we don’t have a huge budget.

Suggestions welcome.

How much is your budget?

If you are needing this for evidence, if something happens, then you need some decent cameras. Not the cheap ones as the picture quality is not good enough to recognise anyone.

Was hoping to spend around £250.

We are quite rural, and want cams to record in case something happens.

viper range for QVIS work well - don't buy their cheaper own brand. 5MP bullets and a NVR should come close to your budget.

Yes, I've fitted these to a local school, who need to identify people if necessary, all year in all weathers.
