Hi all,
Bought a 13amp plug and play hot tub but want to connect it to my new 32amp RCBO circuit. Got an electrician to run a 6mm 3core SWA cable from it and install an IP rated rotary isolator outside. Given this setup, am I ok to simply wire hot tub with this 6mm cable via a 32amp junction box? I don't want to use the default plug play as want to have jets and heating on at the same time... thanks

do you really think connecting something designed to be fused at 13a directly to a 32a circuit is going mto be suitable? you could always get your electrician back to connect it up properly & safely

I would connect it in the manner described in the manufactures instructions.

If there ever was an electrician I'm sure they could help by finishing the job properly
