Changing an outdoor porch light which is switched from inside the property to a PIR light. The mains supply is twin and Earth, the terminal inside the PIR light has 4 terminals; live, neutral, Earth and X......is the light suitable for installation?

yes but youll need to leave the switch in the house turned on for it to work

most of them have a light sensitivity adjustment so you can check it's operation in daylight
