any others have the local website " Nextdoor" ?

I read a warning on it yesterday ,   family of Eastern Europeans  carol singing ,  one of the kids tries to get into the house .

Doorbell just went , family of Eastern Europeans ,  porch door open , one kid standing in there , the others singing something .    

Asked them to leave  & locked the outer door .

Nextdoor is reasonably active around here .... warnings of scumbags occur frequently.

just recently, a disgruntled customer published the dialogue between himself and a rogue builder ..... the builder owed the customer about £2k and had decided he didn’t want to cough up .....

it didnt take too longer before the builder got wind of all the bad publicity he was getting and he paid up via bacs

the thread was deleted later by the person who started it ...

Yes it's active here. Mostly seems to be lost moggies, but sometimes someone seeking tradesmen with recommendations.

Yes ours veers between  lost moggies ,   anyone know a decent sparks, plumber, gardener etc ,   to  car theft  , entering house to snatch car keys  ,  parking  and demolishing the flyover  that carries 100,000,000  cars an hour  into the city  & putting a roundabout in .
