Prior's Court

Prior's Court, a Berkshire charity providing specialist support to young people with autism, is looking for two full time Maintenance Electricians to join our team.


Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum.


The role:

We are looking for two Maintenance Electricians to join our team to provide high quality, cost effective planned reactive maintenance and repair service to all electrical systems across the 50 acre Prior’s Court Estate and surrounding owned properties.


Responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking the maintenance, servicing and installation of all the Prior's Court electrical systems. Providing accurate related paperwork for all electrical works including electrical, fire, and specialist systems.
  • Being a point of contact for the maintenance, servicing and installation of all the Estates electrical systems and ensuring all works are undertaken within agreed time frames.
  • Carrying out all electrical repairs and in-house electrical projects to a high level and standard, conforming to the current IEE and British Standard Regulations.
  • Working to an agreed programme of rolling upgrades for domestic and commercial plant across the Estate, liaising with the Estates Manager, to ensure all condition reports are provided.
  • Assisting the Maintenance Supervisor in ensuring a 24/7 call out response programme is in place for all emergencies relating to electrical, fire and security.
