My lantern  has stopped  working. I have tested the  bulb with an ammeter and it is ok. I have tried  another  bulb  to  make  sure, but  the light  still  does  not  work. I have not had  the  light  too long. The  attachment  shows  a picture  of the  light.  Is it  possible  to isolate  the  sensor.  I was  thinking  if this  can be  done and the  light  works, the sensor  will be  faulty,  and I will  have to  buy  a new light.

Take it down, return it to the supplier and get a refund if its less than 12 months old..

Don't start messing with the internal wiring or you will invalidate any warranty.

For what its worth its looks like typical cheap tat to me.

I would have fitted, separate lamp and PIR.

Thank you for your reply. It is about 15 months old, so out of warranty. Can you recommend a reliable one. I cannot seem to find a lantern style lamp with a separate lamp and PIR.
