Can you post a picture? 3 lights sounds unusual.
what room in the house is it in? If it's a kitchen, it may be fused spur plate for appliances.

That would be one light. He said three lights. The only one I can think of is an immersion heater boost timer.

I was puzzling the 3 lights, but I was thinking of a fused spur panel . Some of the LED Sw Fuses also have 3 little LEDs

Could it not be a smart light switch as so of them have small lights on them if it does more than one set of lights?
