As title says. I was originally going to wire off of s ceiling rose as have done this before but the bathroom light is just hard wired in. There isnt a ceiling rose just a bunch of 5 cables going straight into the pendant....I have no idea how to determine loop in/out or the line cables nothing is marked and cables are all running where I can't access them. So wondering if it is possible to spur off of the power for the shaver plug already installed.

Hmmm  !    One of those 5 cables  could be the shaver point .

To do it properly you need to come off the light  with a 3 core ,  through a 3 pole isolating switch  then into your  fan  c/w overrun timer.

We could help you with  the cables in the light if you want.

Wired off the shaver would be a 3A  spur unit  and a pull switch fan .

There are regulations applying to electrics in bathrooms that should be observed .

The circuit should have an RCD .

The 3A spur needs to be in a safe zone , away from wet hands.

Someone will need to switch OFF the fan at some time .
