1. Unproven technology - WTGrape - I want to see somebody try and justify this.

2. does anyone bother with this stuff now? I work on the basis that RCD protection is mandatory for all sockets

3. Really? It would make more sense to remove the tick box carp from EIC's

4. What does this mean?

5. WTGrape?

6. Still not fitted one ...............

7. What is this? running 10mm GY to steel bars in reinforced concrete?

8. No idea what this means

So in summary

WHY DO WE BOTHER.

None of these items can be justified by the sparks at the coal face and I suspect it will simply mean more people will drop off the radar

Retirement can't come soon enough😂

It just smacks of  tampering for the sake of justifying the fees for sitting on yet another committee.

Half the trade havn't even taken the 18th yet and they're on the 2nd amendment.     Its like a urine extraction plant has been installed.

Question: why do we have to comply with something that is in development stage?

surely we should only have to sit the 18th edition when they have finally completed the development stage ie no further amendments??

The way it works now we are never fully qualified, as when you sit the 18th the moment they add an amendment your qualification is out of date, then when they finally complete all amendments they start the cycle over again?? maybe this is why they say that there are not enough qualified sparks :C

And I won't be taking the 19th neither
