unused economy 7 spurs?

I have just had a new instant heat water system installed. the Electrician wired it into the old immersion heater switch.and capped off the place next to it into which the economy 7 immersion heater was wired. Now the old massive water cylinder has been remover it is now a useful storage space But it needs a light in it. can I use this for a light socket  or wire a poll switch light into this?

Whats a poll switch ?  

If its an E7   supply it will only be live for 7 hours ,  midnight to  7am . It could be diverted to your normal consumer unit ,  fit a 3A fuse to it and wire in a light fitting or batten holder.  

The cable could be re purposed to feed for instance a socket by some alterations at the consumer unit(s)

But assuming this is upstairs with a loft space above, it would probably be a lot easier to connect a proper ceiling light and light switch connected to the existing lighting circuit.

I am interested to know how you get on with a 3kW instant water heater. That's going to be a pretty low flow rate and not a patch on what you would have got from a hot water tank.
