Am I right in thinking that when filling in an installation test sheet for a sub board that is fed from an mcb in another board , its that mcb rating i put in the supply characteristics and do another sheet for the supply board with the intake fuse for that supply characteristic? Thanks

Your first sheet should confirm the origin and MCB for the sub main with all the sub main details

as what Murdoch says, but some certs don't seem to show sub-main as feed for DB2 - they should do!

If you're working in an industrial unit and that unit's DB is fed from a plant room via an SWA and you have no access to the plant room how would you get the supply characteristics for it, enquiry to supplier? For reference the feed comes into the unit via an SWA with a switch isolator before its own meter/DB for the unit.
